How to set up Contactless Sign-up and Access (E.g Unstaffed Day Pass)

Introduce contactless sign-up and access at your facility with GymMaster. You will need to be using GymMaster Bluetooth Access Control, online sign ups, and member portal/ app functionality. By presenting a QR code and instructions at your front door, you can maintain signups onsite, even when the facility is unstaffed.

1. Create a Day Pass Membership Type that has sell online enabled and is in a division with Bluetooth access enabled. You can set up the day pass in any way that suits your facility. Pictured is a standard set up, allowing the member access for a single day after purchase, with 2 visits (in case they are too far from the reader when they make the first scan attempt). Remember to set Door Benefits.

 

2. Navigate to Add Member > QR quick add > screenshot the QR code > print it off and display it at front door with instructions. The QR code link will present a list of all your membership types so the member can select one to purchase. If you have a particular membership you want to promote you can customize the way your memberships are displayed in the Member Portal. If you only want to allow members to purchase a single Membership Type from the QR code, you can copy the Membership Type's Buy Online Link and enter that URL into a QR code generator instead. This will take the member directly to the sign up page with the membership already selected. 

 

3. Once the member has signed up and purchased the membership, they can scroll down on the welcome page to find the App Store links. 

 

4. The member can now open the app and scan into the facility.
