Set up Membership Promotional Periods

Set a promotional period by editing a Membership Type and checking 'Enable Promotional Periods'. Promotional periods occur at the start of the membership. They can be set either as a time period with a discounted price or as the specific date that the membership will be free until. For example, you may have an offer like 'Sign up for a 12-month contract and get the first 2 months half price', or 'Sign up for a 12-month contract and pay nothing until 2023'

When using promotional periods, you can still add a signup fee. This fee will not be discounted by the promotional period.

The promotion price will be charged every billing cycle for the set duration. The billing cycle is determined by the Membership Type's payment frequency e.g. weekly, monthly, yearly.
