One of the key features in GymMaster is the ability to offer bookings, which come in two types, Classes and Services. Understanding the difference between these two will help you set them up effectively for your business.
Classes
Classes are designed for groups of unaffiliated members, all attending a single session together. Common examples include :
Pilates
Spin
Bootcamps
Yoga
Classes are typically scheduled in advance and members can book into them individually.
Services
Services are typically one-on-one sessions or small group sessions. These are often more personalised than classes. Common examples include :
Personal Training
Massage Therapy
Nutrition Coaching
Small Group Training (e.g. 2–4 clients with one coach)
Services can be booked for a specific member at the time of scheduling, or you can set up available time slots that members can book into online.
